Shaker 5pc. MDF Paintable

The shaker style doors in our regular thermofoil line are not offered in raw MDF. Why? The large routed surface is not easy to seal and finish with paint. And a wood shaker door, while paintable, has the tendency to expand/contract over time causing the joint lines to show.

The solution? Our shaker style 5 piece MDF door has a smooth MDF panel which is easy to paint. And the MDF components are very stable, eliminating the problems of expansion/contraction.

These doors and drawer fronts are offered with five different panels:
- 00 plain (shown above)
- 01 V grooved at 1.5" spacing
- 02 V grooved at 2.5" spacing
- 03 double channels at 1.5" spacing
- 04 double channels at 2.5" spacing

Open frames ready for glass are also available.
